Spiritual Day for the Youth, Deacons, and Servants on December 12, 2009

With great joy and enthu­si­asm, the church announces a Spir­i­tual Day for dea­cons, ser­vants, and the youth of the church on Sat­ur­day, Decem­ber 12, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

This Spir­i­tual Day will be full of ben­e­fi­cial activ­i­ties for all ages. The focus of the Spir­i­tual Day will be devel­op­ing an under­stand­ing of the Divine Liturgy and prayer in the church. To this end, there will be a spir­i­tual word and two work­shops designed to explain some of the least under­stood aspects of the Divine Liturgy. In addi­tion, the Spir­i­tual Day will have many enter­tain­ing activ­i­ties, as well. There will be fel­low­ship through a catered lunch, a ping pong tour­na­ment, and a Nin­tendo Wii tour­na­ment for all ages.

The Spir­i­tual Day will begin with the cel­e­bra­tion of the Divine Liturgy in the morn­ing and end with the Ves­pers Rais­ing of Incense in the evening. It is going to be a won­der­ful and spir­i­tual day for every­one. We hope you and your fam­ily can attend, as well.
